More about me
I trained as a graphic designer, so I care about how things look. I care just as much about whether they hold up when someone asks why. I like projects that begin as a strategy deck and end as a shot list, where the thinking and the craft turn out to be the same job.
That love of graphic design never really left, it just grew up. The instincts I built on type, hierarchy, and knowing what to leave out are the same ones I now use to shape a product flow or a brand system. Graphic design taught me to make an idea legible; product and brand design are where I get to make it work at scale.
Off The Clock
Before design, I was the kid who drew, painted, and sculpted anything I could get my hands on. Graphic design became the way I folded all of that into my curiosity about tech. I have been blending the two ever since. Different mediums, same instinct to make something and see it through.
Away from the screen, I am usually traveling, buried in an arts and crafts project, or upside down in aerial yoga and flying trapeze. The nerve it takes up there feels a lot like committing to a hard design idea. And when I am not chasing a new concept, I am probably watching House of the Dragon.
